But what’s with the name?
It’s Adunate. Pronounced ä-du-nä-tay. It means unite.
The name Adunate allows me to finally utilize my otherwise worthless years of high school Latin. It also reflects the unique integration words and design bring to visual communication.
I’m a strong believer in Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus, through his gospel, is the ultimate power for salvation. I also believe he’s given us a purpose for our time here on earth. He’s given us brains, talents and creative thinking, all of which we should use to be his instruments.
I’m a layperson in the church, so I share a perspective with the very people your ministry is trying to reach. I understand what will capture their attention. I understand what will keep their attention. My goal is to unite this understanding with what I do well—words and design—and better communicate the message of Christ.
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men,” 1 Corinthians 12:4.
